On February 1, the International Management Forum was held in Tashkent, covering personnel management, corporate culture development, and leadership. During the forum, the results of the First International “Happiness at Work!” competition were announced, with over one hundred domestic and foreign companies participating. Winners were determined by calculating each company’s Happiness Index based on employee evaluations across twelve criteria. Employees from more than one hundred companies in Uzbekistan, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan completed a survey on satisfaction and engagement, allowing for a comprehensive analysis of organizational performance. This questionnaire was also designed with inclusivity and gender-balance priorities in mind.
Among the finalists, the domestic developer Murad Buildings achieved the highest Happiness Index. Company representatives shared their experience and best practices with forum attendees, answered questions, and earned recognition from the professional community.
Founder and CEO Murad Nazarov commented:
“I thank the organizers for the opportunity to participate and for this honor. The forum is a valuable platform for enhancing corporate competencies in personnel management, corporate culture, and leadership. As for the award, it reaffirms that our greatest resource is our people, working in a supportive atmosphere, guided by sound management and streamlined processes, all focused on results. A company is only as happy as its clients. Happy clients are the outcome of happy employees’ efforts. Management’s task is to maximize the team’s happiness. Our people are an inspired, motivated, and united team doing what they love—creating unique, comfortable, reliable, and beautiful real estate that brings joy to its owners. Our motto “We build happiness!” reflects our commitment to helping every client make the best choice and providing solutions that fully meet their needs and wishes. In all we do, we rely on our core values: happiness, team spirit, growth, trust, mutual respect, integrity, and above all, “my company is my family.” We share one goal, one victory, and one set of challenges. In good times and bad, we stand together, each feeling the care and attention of the team. That unity makes us strong—and makes anything possible!”
Muzaffar Alimov, Head of HR, added:
“This is our first time at this forum. As the leader responsible for our company’s greatest asset—our people and their well-being—this recognition not only honors the entire team’s work but also underscores our responsibility to keep improving. A company’s strength rests on its leader’s vision and its values, where every employee is a vital player in the business team. When everyone feels needed and valued, responsibility for our common goals multiplies, while we maintain a healthy work-life balance. Our team shares common values, vision, and mission. A well-motivated employee, confident they won’t be left alone in tough times and can rely on the team, will strive to keep that team strong, successful, and thriving.”
