On September 14, the Murad Buildings team visited Specialized Boarding School №11, “Nurli Maskan,” under the Syrdarya Regional Department of the National Agency for Social Protection under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
“Nurli Maskan” is a place where children with visual impairments receive an education, discover their talents, explore their creativity, and develop the confidence and skills they need for independent lives.
A special moment of the visit was the presentation of a Braille edition of “Burhanchik and His Little Monsters”, written by Madina Muminova.
A warm and thoughtful story about childhood fears and emotions, the book introduces young readers to a world where little monsters become a reflection of feelings that can sometimes be difficult to express. Through Burhanchik’s journey, children are encouraged to understand their fears, accept their emotions, and discover that even the things that frighten us can be faced and overcome.
The Braille edition makes this story accessible to the students of “Nurli Maskan,” giving them the opportunity to explore the book independently, meet its characters, follow the story, and experience its emotions in their own way.
However, the visit was about more than just the presentation of gifts. The students prepared a special concert for their guests, sharing their talents and creativity through music and performance. Their warmth and openness turned the visit into a truly memorable meeting — one filled with sincere emotions, inspiration, and connection.
